Big things coming!

Today we went and looked at a potential space to open our STORE in Jacksonville, Florida! It was very exciting. The space we looked at was absolutely perfect for Kennedi's Closet! There is a little work to be done. We will definitely need to clean the tile floor and paint the walls a much cuter color.

We are so excited and anxious about the opportunity to expand to a physical location. Things are going to get a little crazy around here in the coming months, so bear with us! Right now we have a goal date of when we would like the store to open, but we will keep you in suspense for a few more weeks!

With the expansion, we will also be adding a few more product lines, possibly including Vera Bradley. We would love feedback from all our current online customers on what you would like to see in the store! Our goal is to appeal to all age groups but still cater to babies and toddlers.

Presenting Invitations and Stationary!

Kennedi's Closet is very proud to announce and present to you our new line of stationary by Miss Priss. The line is brand new and exclusively carried at Kennedi's Closet! It is constantly being updated and new designs are added to the collection almost daily.

This stationary is very unique! When you purchase an item from the collection, the card will be personalized to your needs and a JPEG image will be e-mailed to you. This image can then be sent to a photo finisher such as Walgreens or CVS to be printed. It is a very personal and inexpensive option to invitations and announcements.

The stationary can be personalized for: baby showers, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, baby announcements, save-the-dates, or any other type of occasion you can dream up!

First Friday Freebie!

This has been a very busy and exciting weekend for Kennedi's Closet! We kicked off the Easter weekend with the first "Friday Freebie," given to a lucky Facebook fan who commented on the freebie post first! We awarded a prize to the first, second, and third comment on the status.

We would like to congratulate Lauren Sorrells for winning a free tutu by commenting first! Our other winners were Abdi Ramirez and Angie Traxler. They each won a flower clip and coordinating headband.

To celebrate Spring, "Friday Freebies" are going to continue every Friday for the entire month of April. So keep your eyes glued on our fan page and keep hitting that refresh button, because it could happen anytime throughout the day!

***A little birdie told me this Friday's grand prize winner might get a free monogrammed snack bowl, one of our brand new items! Get excited, and plan your strategy!

Keep checking back for updates regarding an expansion of Kennedi's Closet! We are working out the details, but it will more than likely include a revamped website and maybe even a physical store in the Jacksonville area. Exciting Saturday at A Posh Party!

This was a very exciting weekend for Kennedi’s Closet! We participated in our very first trade show, and it was a huge success! The show was called “A Posh Party” and was held at Friday Musicale in Jacksonville, Florida.

We arrived for set-up at 8 a.m. with the show set to start at 10. It was nerve racking to set up the booth for the very first time, but once we figured it all out, the tables looked great! It was a sea of color from the hair bows and flowers to the pink table skirt to our beautiful photographs by Lisbeth Photography.


There was a steady stream of customers throughout the day, and we loved the face-to-face interaction with everyone! This was very exciting since normally most of our interaction with customers is through e-mails. It was so cool to see some of our previous customers come by our booth with their little princess dressed in a Kennedi’s Closet monogrammed outfit. We also met lots of moms and many beautiful princesses of all ages.

We also had a very special guest stop by our booth: Kennedi herself! She was looked fabulous in her lime green and pink smocked outfit!


Our best selling product of the day was the large and small flower hair clips. Girls from adult to teen to baby were trying to get in on the fashion statement! We even had a customer buy several to coat on her jacket lapel! Flowers are in for Spring 2010!

Kennedi’s Closet also had several models wear our products in the Posh Party fashion show. They showed the tutus off with style and a little unpredictable comedy as well, as you can imagine.


The preparation was full of long hours and late nights, but it was well worth it for a great day and a wonderful experience. These types of shows are definitely something we would like to do more of in the future so keep your eyes open for more dates and locations!

Busy Busy Busy!

New Designers! Alisa's ABC Design

I'm so excited to introduce one of our new designers! Alisa's ABC Design has the cutest nursery decor for your little prince or princess! Alisa started her boutique a few years ago when her son Gabriel was born! What started as a hobby has bloomed into a large online business!

ABC Design offers wall and nursery decor letters, coat racks, growth charts, door signs, switch covers, and chests perfect for storing all of those fun toys! All of her items come already designed with a theme, however for a slight increase you can customize to your designs! Perfect if you'd like to match your child's bedding and room decor! Ship time is between 2 and 3 weeks. However, if you need it in a rush you may request for a slight increase!

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas has come and gone! This year it seemed to go by extremely fast! I don't know if it's because I worked so much this Christmas Season, or the fact that time just seems to fly by. Kennedi had a wonderful First Christmas! She got a slide, wagon, inflatable ball pit, inflatable jumpy house, a 4 wheeler and many other toys and clothes. She is one spoiled girl! Christmas Eve- me and Kennedi went to church with Joey's parents and sister, then headed to my parents house for our traditional family Christmas Eve party. We eat snacks, read the true Christmas story out of the bible, and exchange gifts. Then we headed home and went to sleep for Santa! Joey got off work at 7 Christmas Day, which, was nice. We had both families over to our house for breakfast and to watch Kennedi open gifts from Santa. Then lunch with my family and dinner with his. It made for a very fun yet tiring day! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Business side- Kennedi's Closet is doing wonderful! From October 1 through December 20 we had a little over 200 orders, which is great! I'm now trying to think of new ideas for the spring/summer 2010 line! I'm thinking fairies and princess type things! Below I'll attach a few pics of some orders we've done recently!
