Spring has Sprung!

We're here... I promise! Things have been so hectic at the shop lately! Between working on orders, trying to create new designs, setting up photo shoots, traveling to market to find new items, keeping up with emails, phone calls, facebook, twitter, blog etc..... we're still here and our company is still thriving!

We've welcomed some new designers into our boutique family!
Our newest item to display is Padalily! We're so excited to be the only retailer in Jacksonville to carry this amazing mom friendly product! If you're not local feel free to browse our online store for all the adorable patterns Padalily has to offer!

Another new line that we're excited to share is our diaper bag collection from Kalencom.

Kalencom diaper bags are sophisticated baby bags that provide the modern mom all the practical needs of a nappy bag but also the style that benefits a modern diaper bag. Kalencom excels at creating designer diaper bags that are rich variety of colors and designs that have set them apart from any other designer diaper bag line. Many celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Tori Spelling have been seen with these ultra stylish bags!

Along with the above items we also have several new clothing and shoe lines we'll be adding within the next few weeks.

With that being said.... we've noticed that several people have either came in the store or called to place an order and we were out of stock for that item. We know how frustrating it can be when you really want something and it's on backorder or sold out. Most of the time once we receive a new item- we sell out of it within a couple of days. That can be a problem! Trust me- I would much rather have this problem instead of having a ton of stuff and not being able to sell it- but it's still a problem. Our KC team has been talking and planning a variety of ways to have more inventory and keep more inventory while still selling a LOT of inventory. One solution we have came up with is beginning Monday, May 2 we will be launching our Facebook Store. This store will be completely separate from our retail store and our online store. We will simply do 4 to 5 listings Monday-Saturday at noon with items that are in stock ready for immediate shipping. We will also have the same items available in store for locals to come and pick up as well. These sales can either be payed through paypal or over the phone and will be shipped directly to you. We will also have shipments arriving 3 times a week in store which should keep things updated frequently.
We have been very blessed with a ton of amazing customers all throughout the US and facebook seems to be the best way to reach our fans all over. Along with having sales throughout the day- we will be hiring a couple more people to help assist with orders and in our shipping department.
We're so excited about our new expansion- it's just the beginning of many dreams and goals I have for this company! We can't share all of our plans just yet but I can't wait to open more stores in other cities and states!

Just like many of you- I'm a mom and wife first! I'm not always at the store but my team of girls are more than ready to help with any of your questions. If you ever have any problems please let me know! We can't possibly keep every customer happy but we will do our best to give you the best customer service and the highest quality items. If you ever have any problems or concerns you can either call the store and leave a message for me (Renee) or email us at kennediscloset@yahoo.com. You are the reason we are in business so please let me know if you need anything!

For all of you other Mompreneurs- Good Luck! I remember in the beginning trying to get my products out there and hoping people would love them just as much as I did! Stay positive and your company will do wonderful! With todays market being so saturated with the same things- try to think outside of the box! Overall, my biggest advice is to pray! I know it sounds very cliche but I promise you I've been praying for my store to do well since I was in high school and didn't even have a store yet! Every night when we are saying our prayers with our little girl we pray for my store, when I wake up I pray for large sales that day, throughout the day my mind will think about the store and I'll say a quick prayer for a great day. One of the girls at the store laughs at me because I'm always saying 'quick' prayers to the Lord to help me... and he does!

We hope everyone had a Happy Easter! We can't wait to see all of your Easter pictures! Have a great rest of the week!
Love, Renee
