Merry Christmas from Kennedi's Closet!

It's that time of year again! Our store has been so incredibly busy with both in-store and online orders! Thank you for that!! Since we've opened our doors in mid-September our customers and orders have multiplied by the dozens! When I started my online store back in May of 2009 I never thought that I would be able to create a full time job out of it!

Since then, I have resigned from my 3rd grade teaching position and opened our first retail location. We've also created our first exclusive Clothing Line that will be launching in Spring 2011. Our clothing line can be found in children's boutiques throughout the U.S. along with a team of Clothing Reps that will be showcasing our Spring line in trunk shows throughout many Southern States!

Again, I just wanted to THANK YOU for your continued support of Kennedi's Closet! Below I've added a few pictures of Kennedi from Christmas! Unfortunately Joey had to work but she had a blast playing at the fire station!

We have new store hours! We're now open Tuesday- Friday 10-7 and Saturdays 9-4. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Finally Open!

WOW!

We opened last Saturday and it was fantastic! Thank you for all your support, ideas and purchases! We are so excited and blessed by this opportunity. Check out some of our photos from the big day! Hope you can by soon to see us!

Only one week left!

We will be opening our doors one week from yesterday, Saturday September 11th! We will celebrate our grand opening from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. with lots of fun things!

We are super excited about all of the new products we will be carrying in the store, and we know you will be too! Stop by soon and check out things like Ruffle Butts, the new Mudpie line, nursery and room decor, tutus, Rosalina dresses, diaper bags, Baby Bling, Mixed Bag designs and more!

It been a fantastic, long, productive, tiring and fabulous couple of weeks! We completed the painting today and started moving in some store fixtures. We also are right in the middle of completing our fall and winter designs and are really excited about the new clothes we will have in the shop! We've meet with a number of designers as well and are certain you're going to love their stuff as much as we do!

With so much going on we have had to add some people to the Kenendi's Closet team! Renee is still steering the ship and is running the website, getting the store ready, being mommy to Kennedi, wife to Joey and getting ready to go back to school part time-wow! Rachel Runnels has also joined the team and is helping out with everything from painting to insurance papers. We will be interviewing for store employees this next week. Look for more info and bios on the fabulous staff of Kennedi's closet!

One more exciting event we need to let you know about. Kennedi's Closet has teamed up with Princess Lisbeth www.princesslisbeth.com to offer you great products and princess parties. They are hosting a model search for their Tea Party at the Kennedi's Closet grand opening event on September 4th. Check back on this blog and check out their website for more details!

Wow! It is amazing how much you can get done in a week! We have finished construction.... We had to take down a wall and put up another one before moving ahead. We are about halfway through our painting and can't wait to start setting up the store!

I know many of you are almost as excited as we are about the store opening. Our grand opening is currently scheduled for Labor Day weekend, Saturday, September 4th! Until then we are keeping the store covered up to keep the final product a surprise!

Moving Update!

We are so excited to get the keys to the store tomorrow afternoon and will begin construction this week! We are planning to open the beginning of September and have finished planning a fantastic collection for fall. Make sure to check facebook as we clear out the summer collection. Will post photos of the new store ASAP. We are looking forward to getting to meet and talk with all of our fabulous customers!
