This position will provide a great opportunity for the individual to be in charge creatively. Must have your own camera and photo editing software.

Production/Design Internship Opportunity

We are currently taking internship applications for spring 2013! We are looking for detail-oriented, hardworking, creative individuals to start immediately and assist in our production/design department. This position will provide a great opportunity for the individual to work closely with both design and production teams. Must be available 2-3 days a week. Sewing experience required.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

It's one of the busiest times of year for us here at Kennedi's Closet, but we love it! One of the best things about this time of year is the opportunity to give back with a joyful heart. We are so blessed and love any chance we can give back to the local community. This year we have decided to have our very first toy drive for a local family in need. We will be collecting toys between now and December 23rd and would love to give you a $5 giftcard just to say    thanks for helping us bring Christmas to a First Coast Family.

Fabulous Fall at Kennedi's Closet

Hey Everyone!

A lot has happened since our last post! Halloween has passed and so has Florida Georgia Weekend. Two big events for us! They were absolutely fabulous and we had so much fun. We hope you did too. Look at these adorable applique shirts we did!

Fall has been treating us well so far! Not only was Halloween and Florida Georgia a success we also had a good time at The Southern Women's Show this year. Every year we pack up our store and bring a little piece of Kennedi's Closet to thousands of ladies ready to shop! It's always a blast and we get to meet so many customers. It's great because we have people who come up to us and share wonderful stories about how they're excited for us to be at the show every year. This year was even better because we had TWO booths which means we got to bring a lot more items! Here's a pic of our booth all finished and ready for customers!

Something that made us even more excited to be at The Southern Women's Show this year was that we had the chance to put on our very first fashion show. It took a lot of prep, but we had our lovely customers sign up to walk in our show and they were so wonderful! There was a great turnout and we ended up having about 30 kids model clothes for us. All the kids were absolutely adorable in their Kennedi's Closet clothes. We could not have been more pleased with the show. It was a great experience!

Another thing we can't go without mentioning is the new addition to our Kennedi's Closet Family.. As soon as the Southern Women's Show craziness was over, our store owner, Renee, had her baby! All of us girls here at KC are more than excited to welcome a boy into the mix. He has stolen our hearts already and he is just under two-weeks old!

Facebook Sales Policies!

We've had a bit of confusion in regards to our facebook sales so we just wanted to repost our facebook policies to help. All items can be held for only 48 hours. If we do not receive payment within 48 hours (paypal, over the phone, or in store) then the item will go to the next customer.

Here's how our facebook sales work!

1. “Like” Kennedi’s Closet on Facebook.
2. We will post adorable outfits on our Facebook page that will include the price, sizes, and quantities available. The rest is up to you!

If I see an item I’m interested in buying, how do I bid on it?

If you like the item we have posted and want to purchase it, you must QUICKLY comment on the picture and include the following details:

• SOLD, Size, either your paypal email or the word “phone”, and personalization info (if applicable)
• If you live outside the state of Florida, you MUST include OOF (for Out of Florida) or you will be charged 7% Sales Tax.
• Only complete posts will be honored!

Note: If you put the word Phone, you have the next business day to call our retail store and pay for your order over the phone. 904-551-0214. We’re open Monday-Saturday 10-6 Eastern Time. Also, if you're local to our store and you want to come in and pay- we can still only hold it for 48 hours.

Examples:

Standard item: Sold, 6m, mommydearest@yahoo.com

Monogram Item: Sold, 9m, phone, “eKr” or Ella in hot pink.

Multiple Sizes: Sold, 3T and 12m, mommydearest@yahoo.com

Multiple Items: Sold, 3T and 5T, phone, only if I win both sizes.

Reminder that all invoices and phone orders must be paid within 48 hours or items will go to the following winner.

Bids are first come, first serve. Please don’t be upset if you don’t win! There are limited quantities per size and just remember that we’ll have other auctions with more cute things.

Tis the Season!

It's been way to long! Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving and now Merry Christmas! We hope everyone is doing well!

We've made a lot of changes since we blogged last!

Our biggest change is we have moved into our new location!

We're now located at: 4495 Roosevelt Blvd. Suite 310, Jacksonville, FL 32210. Our phone number is still the same- 904-551-0214. We're open Monday-Saturday 10-6 and closed on Sundays.

Hopefully, everyone has made it out to our new store! We have a lot of new items as well as the popular items from our previous store. Our newest addition is our new boys Rugged Butts Line.

This line is perfect for any little man who loves dressing up like his daddy! It comes with adorable denim and tan pants, Button Down shirts, pull over vest and handsome ties.

Along with Rugged Butts, we also are now carrying the popular Books to Bed! This collection has been a huge hit! It comes in a variety of popular children's books for both boys and girls.

We're adding new items to the store daily and hopefully we'll be able to keep the blog updated as frequent as possible!

I am having so much fun getting to know all of you sweet customers! It's so rewarding seeing new moms coming in when they first find out they're pregnant. They're so excited to be pregnant and just want to buy something special for their sweet little one- even if they have 9 months to go! All of us moms have been there! You almost want to buy something just to convince yourself that you really are pregnant! Then as the time goes on, we see you more and more frequently, and finally we get to meet your sweet baby! I just want to say thank you for including us!

On another side, I've got to meet many new designers and aspiring momtrepreneurs! It's so much fun getting to meet all of the new and up in coming designers and businesses! We can't wait to announce many of them in our Spring Collections.

Lastly, we're currently doing a Christmas Cuties Contest on our facebook page! For the past week our customers have been submitting photos of their little Christmas Cuties! Then, we placed them all in an album so that they can have their friends like our fan page and then like their photo. The deadline to vote is December 23rd at midnight, Eastern Standard Time. The photo with the most likes will then win a $100 gift card to our store.

Incase we don't blog before Christmas we hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! We hope you get to spend quality time with your friends and family and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas!
